Suguta – Samburu West
We initiated this project in April 2019.
The project is hosted by Suguta Consolata Primary School in Samburu however, it also caters for the children living in the Suguta area.
- We started a reading club in the school and appointed a patron
- Books were donated by our kids book club members in Nairobi and our partner East African Educational Publishers.
- Newspaper In Education (NIE) -We donated newspapers in partnership with Nation Media Group’s Junior spot weekly publication. The reading club receives newspapers every week. This not only helps the children in their reading skills but also keeping up to date with current affairs.
