Nakuru City
- Nakuru is located in the Great Rift Valley and home to Lake Nakuru.
- Nakuru municipality was conferred the city status on 1 December 2021 by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta the fourth president of Republic of Kenya making it the fourth – largest city in Kenya.
- Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its flamingos, rhinos and has the largest bird sanctuary in East Africa.
- Menengai Crater is an inactive volcano that attracts tourists from all over the world.
Eldoret City
- Eldoret is Located south of Cherangani hills in the Great Rift Valley.
- On 15 August 2024, Eldoret was conferred city status by President William Samoei Ruto , making it the fifth city of Kenya.
- Eldoret is home to the famous long distance world champion athletes such as Mary Keitany, Vivian Cheruiyot, Kipchoge Keino, Eliud Kiochoge to name a few.
- Eldoret is also home to the third largest airport in Kenya, located in Uasin Gishu County, south of Eldoret city.
