Hands that Speak : The magic of Sign Language
Have you ever seen people talking with their hands instead of their voices?
That’s called sign language.
It’s a special way of communicating, mainly used by people who are deaf (cannot hear well) or people who find it hard to speak or hear.

Origin of sign Language
Nobody invented sign language, deaf people created it together over time so they could talk with each other. Later, in 1755, a French priest named Charles-Michel de l’Epée started the first school for deaf children. He helped organize and teach sign language in a clear way, which made it easier for many people to learn and use.
