International World Cities Day

Every year on 31st October, the world celebrates World Cities Day. This is a special day to think about  the big towns where millions of people live, go to school, work, play, and dream.

Cities are exciting because they are full of people, cars, buildings, markets, buses, and so much more. But they can also have problems like too much traffic, not enough clean water, or too much waste.

World Cities Day helps us talk about how to make our cities better places for everyone.

World Cities Day is celebrated to remind everyone that cities should be happy, healthy, and safe homes for all people.
